Karen Moyer, The Moyer Foundation
Friday, April 25 | 9:00 am

As a Major League Baseball pitcher for over 25 years, Jamie Moyer and his wife Karen "walk the talk” when it comes to philanthropy. As Co-Founders of The Moyer Foundation, a public 501(c)3 organization, the Moyers have committed their lives to providing comfort, hope and healing to children affected by loss and family addiction – raising over $20 million since 2000. Their inspiring presentation will provide real world insight into their lives as philanthropists, parents and entrepreneurs – all told through real life experiences and stories that demonstrate their commitment to making a difference, the importance of collaboration for success and what it means to leave a legacy that will last long after baseball.

Karen Moyer and her husband, Major League Baseball pitcher Jamie Moyer, are widely recognized for their philanthropic work surrounding causes that aid children. In 2000, Karen and Jamie founded The Moyer Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower children in distress by providing education and support – helping them to lead healthy and inspired lives. Predicated upon the Moyer’s passion and the community’s support, The Moyer Foundation has raised over $20 million to assist hundreds of different organizations and programs thatdirectly serve the needs of children in distress.
